Top 5 Green Rangers

Hey guys. It's March and you know what the lucky color is. And I thought it would be a perfect time to do a countdown on the Top 5 best Green Rangers in Power Rangers.

#5 - Ziggy Grover (Power Rangers RPM)
What I loved about Ziggy was that he was one of the comic reliefs in RPM, since that was a dark season, and it was pretty funny in every scene he was in (Taking notes, Neo-Saban Era?). He was a former member of the Scorpion Cartel and would get involved with Fresno Bob, who wants revenge on him for reasons. He also did have an arc with Doctor K as he was trying to gain respect from her, and eventually does at the end of the series, where after defeating Venjix, they decide to teach kids about biofield physics.

#4 - Trip (Power Rangers Time Force)
Trip is a Xybrian who has a crystal gem on his head which gives him the ability to tell the future. Trip's character can be described as the meak brains of the group, where he is responsible for inventing their arsenal. At times, Trip looks up to the Rangers and tries to become the best Ranger like them, but eventually realizes it's more power to the brain than the brawn. He also has a very close relationship with his robotic owl friend, Circuit. One of his greatest moments is in Episode 19, where he stands up against Eric by defending Notacon, a mutant who was only arrested for petty theft, and it gets even better by revealing he is an alien and that what makes Trip's character stand out.

#3 - Cam Watanabe (Power Rangers Ninja Storm)
Cam first started out in the beginning of the series as the techie who's responsible for making the arsenal of the team. Though sarcastic, he is known to be tired of his job and wanted to be a Ranger, but do a promise from his late mother, the Sensei has forbidden his son from becoming one, but when his friends are in danger, Cam takes the risk and uses the Scroll of Time, where he retrieves the Samurai Amulet, becoming the Green Samurai Ranger. Once becoming a Ranger, he actually begins to feel like a leader and calls the shots, since he sent their Zords and stayed behind at Ninja Ops and would help them if they needed help. Yet I am surprised he didn't become leader of the team once he became the Ranger (Maybe they didn't want Shane to feel pissed off or something).

#2 - Adam Park (Power Rangers Zeo & Power Rangers Turbo)
In the original series, he replaced Zack as the Black Ranger for the remainder of the series, but after the Command Center got destroyed and the Zeo Crystal was found, his color was changed to green. In Zeo, I felt Adam was trying to express his character into other activities, other than karate, like piano, and boxing. In Turbo, now as a college student, he started taking responsibilities and acted like a mentor to Carlos, who would eventually take his place as the second Green Turbo Ranger, like as his soccer coach and would help Carlos when he became the Black Space Ranger in the following season, In Space.

#1 - Tommy (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Seasons 1 & 2)
Okay, TBH, I honestly regret putting him at #1, since he is the most overrated Ranger of all time, but then again, there are still alot of things to like about Tommy. When he first appeared, he practically changed Power Rangers forever. He mopped the Rangers every chance he got, but then the Rangers beat him, and he turned good. As the series progressed, he lost his powers, but got them back again, but only to lose them again, but for good, but before the second time he lost them, he went through an interesting character arc, where he begins to experience fear in losing his powers and though at low levels, he still fought no matter what, and that is what Power Rangers are.

So, that's my list. What are picks? Reply in the comments below. Here's to a good March 2018. Later.

  1. Pretty good list. Personally I probably would have put Cam at the top of the list instead of Tommy, and the #5 spot would be a tie between Ziggy and Bridge Carson. Both managed to be good comic relief and serious, competent fighters when the situation called for it.
