Kamen Rider
Reboot Films (2005 & 2007)
Kamen Rider The First (2005) served as the reboot to the original Kamen Rider series from 1971. The sequel, Kamen Rider The Next (2007), served as the sequel to The First. It included elements from Kamen Rider V3.
Kamen Rider G (2009)
Kamen Rider G celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Heisei Era of Kamen Rider along with Kamen Rider Decade. This only served as a special, much like Birth of the 10th! All Kamen Riders Together!!
Kamen Rider Amazons (2016-2017)
Kamen Rider Amazons was created to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of Kamen Rider in 2016 as apart of their Super Hero Year. Kamen Rider Amazons was a bit of a dark Kamen Rider series. It´s success renewed it for a second season, Kamen Rider Amazons Season Two.
Super Sentai
Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger (2012-2013)
Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger was an unofficial Sentai series that served as a parody to said franchise. Due to Akibaranger´s success, the series was renewed for a second season Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger Season Tsuu. The show ran for 26 episodes overall (13 for Season 1 + 13 for Season Tsuu).
Power Rangers Dino Force Brave (2017)
In South Korea, Super Sentai is brought over to South Korea for Korean dubs for Korean audiences. They started with Abaranger, as it was renamed Power Rangers Dino Thunder (get it, they named it after their Power Rangers counterpart). The same was done for the following Sentai series, except for Shinkenger, which had too much Japanese influence in it and Korea hates Japanese (If they hate Japanese, WHY THE HELL DO THEY EVEN BOTHER BRINGING A JAPANESE SERIES TO KOREA THEN?!). When they dubbed Kyoryuger, the toy sales were successful and it Kyoryuger was given a Korean sequel, Power Rangers Dino Force Brave. The Korean sequel will be brought to Japan for a Japanese dub titled Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Brave.
So, I hope I was able to tie some loose ends in these franchises. So, hope you´ve enjoyed this post. Later.
