Hey guys. Haven't done this in a long time. Time for a new Gravure Idol of the Week. Today's entry is Haruka Tomatsu, best known for her role as Candelilla from the 2013-14 Super Sentai series, Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.
Since numerous people have been doing this kind of thing (ProtoDubs, Masked Rider Blue, Toku Princess) I decided to throw my hat into the ring and do my own blog post about it. Here, we're going to see Who Did Power Rangers Better?
Now of course, I'm going to rate each season by using a scale: -1, if it's terrible, 0, if it's bad, 1, if it's OK, 2, if it's good, and 3, if it's amazing. So, let's party like it's it 1985 and rank these seasons! Go!
Let's start with the first era in Power Rangers, which is also divided into two sub-eras, the Zordon Era, and the Post-Zordon Era.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Season 1)
This is were it all started, ladies and gentleman. The genesis of the franchise. To be honest, this season is not as great as many people point it out to be. Most of the scenes in this season are very cheesy and dated, but it was the 90s, and this was the first season. Nobody knew how to make a good season yet and they we're trying to make a story out of the footage they were given. Thank God it became a huge success. 1 point.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Season 2)
In Season 2, this is were the story started to feel more intense. We got a new villain, Lord Zedd, Tommy went from green to white, we got new Zords, and we got three new Rangers. I felt that the season started in a really strong way with The Mutiny Pt. 1-3, and the send-off for the Green Ranger powers was really good, but when Tommy became the White Ranger, everything was just too perfect for him. The cast change, in my opinion, didn't harm the season. Jason, Trini, and Zack's sendoff wasn't anything good, because their actors already left the show, most of the footage we see them in is just reused footage (Tell me how Zack was able to grow his old hairstyle back), and new footage, we would only just see the back of these stand-ins, never there faces. And don't get me started on the terrible voice acting for them. Rocky, Adam, and Aisha, were pretty OK on their start, with easily Adam being most interesting one of the three. 1 point.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Season 3)
Season 3, on the other hand, is the best out of the MMPR trilogy. The story continues to grow and so do our characters, Bulk & Skull for example. Though, the season didn't start out strong with the 3-part crossover with someone who shall not be named, Ninja Quest should have been the premiere, where we were introduced to Rito, the Ninja Powers, Ninjor, and the Ninja Zords. We also got a great sendoff for Kimberly, which I think was handled better than both of the sendoffs from last season. Kat was a pretty good replacement and fit perfectly with the team. 2 points.
Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers
One thing I don't understand that most people do when doing this is why do they talk about the Alien Ranger mini-series as it's own season. Technically, it's apart of Season 3, but then again, I'm destined to talk about it. Unlike others, I think this mini-series, is pretty OK. I know there are a lot of flaws with this, like the terrible child actors, or the Alien Rangers, who barely have a character to them. But I liked how it gave closure to Mighty Morphin and started building up to Zeo, with the Zeo Quest. And the cliffhanger that happens at the end just leaves you speechless. 1 point
Power Rangers Zeo
Then we get to Zeo itself. Just like it says in the theme song, this series was stronger than before, literally. The writing, the characters, the villains, etc. This was showing that Saban was moving on from Mighty Morphin (like what they should do nowadays) and wanted to expand the franchise. Many intriguing things happened here, and the Gold Ranger arc was the cream of the crop on that aspect. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but I will say that your in for a treat. 2 points.
Power Rangers Turbo
But after Zeo, we get Turbo. Many fans, including myself, aren't very pleasant when this season comes to mind. The transition between Zeo and Turbo is very weak where we don't have a reason for them to switch. The movie that served as a kickstarter for this season, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, was originally going to be 3 hours long and we would've gotten an explanation for the Zeo powers being absent, but sadly that never got to see the light of day. I hope that you don't hate me for this or stop going to my blog.............I thought that the villains were pretty funny. I know that there plans sucked and are the least bit threatening, but they were still a joy to watch. Other reasons why people hate this season, is because of our new Blue Ranger, Justin, who is a kid. IMO, he was a pretty good character. The cast change, however, I thought was poorly executed. The sendoff for the original members should have been about wrapping up their character arcs, but we don't get much of that. For the new cast, there pretty good, and I liked how they introduced. Another good thing about this season was the finale we were given, and it was executed gloriously, but regardless of it's pros, it's a heavily-flawed season. 0 points.
Power Rangers In Space
Though Turbo was lackluster, it had one of the best finales of all time, which led into the next season, which was the Swan Song of the Zordon Era. Man, did it fulfill to it's potential. The writing started to feel more mature and we got lots of world building. The Psycho Ranger saga is indeed one of the greatest and right up there with the Gold Ranger arc. And when Zordon died, it was executed in such a majestic way. It was going to be the last season, but the finale's ratings did so well, of course they continued. 3 points.
Power Rangers Lost Galaxy
Lost Galaxy is a lot of things. It's the spiritual sequel to In Space and is the first of the Post-Zordon Era. Lost Galaxy did more world building, but had a great theme on journey and sacrifice. It was very epic and entertaining. And of course, I have to talk about the episode where Kendrix sacrificed herself, but would eventually transfer her powers to Karone, who's arc would explored beautifully. 3 points. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue
Power Rangers strikes again with their awesome seasons with this one. Lightspeed Rescue was freakin' epic and the arc the Titanium Ranger was a crowd-pleaser as well. I felt it showed what risks a Power Ranger takes by having go through many obstacles that were shown to be very dangerous. 3 points.
Power Rangers Time Force
I don't care if I'm biased or not, but this IS MY FAVORITE SEASON OF ALL TIME!!! It had great character dynamics, a good romance between Wes and Jen, the Quantum Ranger, Ransik, it had everything you would want in a Power Rangers season! Easy 3 points.
In 2001, Disney bought the franchise from Saban, with Wild Force being a transition season. This would eventually be the era that yours truly would grow up in.
Power Rangers Wild Force
To be honest, I had a hard time where to put this season. Is it a Saban or Disney season? It was a huge struggle, I originally was going to put this in the Saban season, put I would eventually place it here because shut up, it's my blog and I can do whatever the hell I want. This season was pretty enjoyable for me. And when you actually think about it, this is the first team of Power Rangers to not have any arsenal or Zords related to technology. It's all ancient and animal-themed. And more kudos to this season for having two team-ups, which were both awesome. The team-up with Time Force and Forever Red, with hands down is easily the best PR anniversary we were given. 2 points.
Power Rangers Ninja Storm
Now this is the official first season of the Disney Era. This is where Power Rangers completely changed. The music, the scenery, everything. And to be honest, that's not bad. I liked Ninja Storm. It felt laid back, it executed the ninja aspect very well, the extreme sports portion doesn't feel too forced, and the villains were not threatening, yet were still funny. 2 points.
Power Rangers Dino Thunder
Now this was a Power Rangers season that was an anniversary season, where it technically wasn't. The MMPR callbacks were decent, yet still had it's own identity. The villains were very fleshed out and instead of making them aliens, they were revolved around science. And I feel like this was when Tommy's character began to shine, and of course, the 500th episode of Power Rangers, the one episode that actually introduced me to the teams preceding this one and showed me how Power Rangers was not your average kids' show, but a franchise that was pretty much a legacy. 3 points.
Power Rangers S.P.D.
This was the first season that I ever saw, folks. If your interested how I came across this season, link here. S.P.D. is one of the very unique seasons of Power Rangers, because we get more world building, more alien Rangers. This series was also the first to have a futuristic setting. I know Time Force technically did this first, but that's were the premise started. The majority of Time Force was in the year of 2001. S.P.D. entirely takes place in the future. And what I do like is how the B-Squad acts. Most times they argue and at the end, they had to prove themselves to rise to greatness and best the A-Squad. 3 points.
Power Rangers Mystic Force
I know that a lot of people hate this season, but personally, I don't think it's that bad. The first 20 episodes were pretty decent, and that Dark Wish 3-parter blew the roof off. After that, the remaining 12 episodes just pretty much focuses too much on Nick. 1 point.
Power Rangers Operation Overdrive
We all know the story for this one. I felt like it was a complete reversal with Mystic Force. The first 12 episodes were decent, but the ongoing 20 were lackluster. I did like the adventure theme and the Once-A-Ranger team-up was OK in my opinion. 0 points.
Power Rangers Jungle Fury
Now after the negative reception that Overdrive got, Jungle Fury was a huge step-up from that. We actually got well choreographed fight scenes in this season, and I like how this leans more towards the martial arts aspect than the animal motif. Both the villains and heroes have very interesting and are executed in a strong way by having our heroes go through a journey and become full-fledged masters, and by having Jarrod redeem himself at the end of the series. 3 points.
Power Rangers RPM
Being the last of the Disney Era, this was also going to be the last season in general. So the writers went all out with this one by having this season be set in an apocalyptic universe. This is pretty much the darkest season of all time and this season explored many aspects that Power Rangers has never explored before. 3 points.
After Disney pulled the plug on Power Rangers in 2010, Saban Brands bought the franchise back and started making new seasons. Everyone was jumping for joy because the legacy will still continue.....but eventually, were disappointed on how it continued.
Power Rangers Samurai/Super Samurai
This was the first of the Neo-Saban Era and disappointed numerous fans mainly because it was a direct copy of it's counterpart, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. If you don't believe me, just watch Shinkenger and Samurai back-to-back and see what I mean. It's pretty typical why this would be a direct copy because the main writer was nothing more than a translator, and they credited the writer of the Sentai counterpart in their credits. And it's also despicable on how this series "Americanizes" Shinkenger, which the latter was heavily based off of Japanese culture. But I will give it this, at least I felt like Samurai had some scenes where it took itself seriously, unlike the seasons that preceded it. 0 points.
Power Rangers Megaforce/Super Megaforce
*sighs* We all know the story for this. Underdeveloped characters, terrible mentor, the new powers, the Legendary Battle, etc. -1 point.
Power Rangers Dino Charge/Dino Supercharge
After Megaforce, Dino Charge was actually a huge step-up. The characters started to feel more diverse and 3-dimensional, the comedy was good for the most part, and I liked the story around the Energems. Sadly, the second season, Dino Supercharge, immediately decreased in quality, with the comedy now being more cringier, Tyler's Dad, etc., but Heckyl was easily the best character and it was great to have a good PR villain since RPM. 2 points.
Power Rangers Ninja Steel/Super Ninja Steel
But sadly, after Dino Charge, Ninja Steel felt like the franchise went 2 steps back down. I know that this series isn't finished yet, but what does that matter when it feels like it won't change from it's current rate. Ninja Steel just tries to hard to be Mighty Morphin, like with the morals, Victor and Monty, the Theme Song, the comedy, etc. It even gets to the point where I'm starting to hate this more than I do with Megaforce. The Rangers just feel so wooden and have a lack of personality that I can't stand them, and the villains just feel so cringing to both look and listen too. but kudos for bringing back Kelson Henderson. -1 point.
Final Analyzation Saban Era - 19 points Disney Era - 17 points Neo-Saban Era - 0 points Winner: Saban
I know that my answer is a lot different than ones that are listed above, but I still highly respect Disney. Now for Saban, I easily think that their earlier years were where they shined, but after getting their show back from Disney, they just lost the magic. One of the many reasons of what we've been getting with the Neo-Saban Era can easily fall to Nickelodeon, but other than that, Saban is trying too hard to recapture the days of Mighty Morphin, but what they don't realize is that kid shows have evolved nowadays, like Avatar, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, TMNT 2012, the list goes on. So......how will Beast Morphers turn out?
Will Beast Morphers be an evolution for the franchise now that Hasbro has the ball in their court? They have made some quality shows, like Transformers: Prime and MLP: Friendship is Magic (Well from what I have heard). Or will Beast Morphers stay the same and continue throwing the toxic crap we've been getting for the past decade? Or even worse? We'll just have to wait and see until next year, but this wait pretty much sums up what Billy said in Episode 27 of Zeo:
"That's the one thing about the Power Rangers. You never know what's gonna happen next"
And he's right. Maybe we'll get some surprises at San Diego Comic Con or Power Morphicon. Next time, we're getting another Gravure Idol of the Week. In the words of a giant floating head, May the Power Protect You. Later.
Hey guys. Since Build has finally got his final form, I thought I go over the same for Secondary Riders, and just in the nick of time now that Ryuga has got his.
When the Unknown were suddenly getting stronger, and his suit wasn't capable to adapt to them, Makoto Hikawa was given an upgraded suit, G3-X, where his weapon of choice is GX-05 Cerberus, which is A GATLING GUN!!! Nice!
As the series progressed, Ren Akiyama was given the Survive Shippu Advent Card. With the power of wind, he was able to turn his Dark Visor into the Dark Visor-Zwei. Once inserting the card into it, he was able to assume his Survive form. Once assuming this form, his personal Advent Beast, Darkwing, has now evolved into Darkriader, where it can now assume a bike form.
After sealing the Peacock Undead, he was then given his own Rouse Absorber. By using the Absorb Serpent and Fusion Jack cards, he is able to his Jack Form.
Kamen Rider Gatack Hyper Form (Kamen Rider Kabuto)
Only seen in the Hyper Battle DVD, Arata Kagami, aka Kamen Rider Gatack, used a Hyper Zecter from the future to assume his own Hyper Form. This was pretty much the plot of that special where Arata was trying to act like Tendou.
In Episode 40, to combat the Death Imagin, Yuto uses the last of his Red Zeronos Cards to assume this form. By using it the first time, it used his memories as a catalyst of some sort to make his green portions turn to rust. In this form, he can use the Denebick Buster to fight.
When Keisuke was relieved of his duties as IXA, Kengo was given the Ixa System, but had to resign, pretended that he was flawed. Keisuke was given back the Ixa Driver and was able to use it's upgraded system. By using the Ixariser, he was able to transform into Rising Ixa.
Kamen Rider Diend Complete Form (Kamen Rider Decade)
Used in Episode Yellow, Kaito was given his own K-Touch. By using it, he was able to assume his Complete Form, which is comprised of the cards of movie-exclusive Riders, like G4, Ryuga, Orga, Glaive, Kabuki, Caucasus, Arc, and Skull.
In the V-Cinema, Kamen Rider Accel, by comining his Accel Gaia Memory with the Gaia Memory Enhancing Adapter, Ryu Terui was able to assume Booster Form.
After Akira Date gave left, his friend, Shintaro Goto assumed the mantle of Kamen Rider Birth. To assume his final form, he uses all of the Birth CLAWs weapons to assume Birth Day form.
In Episode 28, Ryusei uses the Meteor Storm Switch to assume this form. With it, he can use the Meteor Storm Shaft, which is a long boe he can use for combat. He can insert the switch into the shaft and spin it like a BeyBlade (Imagine all the tweets that made BeyBlade jokes when this form was first announced).
In Episode 29, Kousuke finds the Mirage Magnum. By using the Beast Hyper Ring into his belt, he can transform into his Hyper Form. In this form, he can use the Mirage Magnum as his weapon of choice. (Oh and by the way, congratulations to Tasaku Nagase on his marriage).
Many can argue if this is Baron's final form or not, as others will say that it is his Lemon Energy Arms. To be honest, this should be his final form, regardless that he is not a Kamen Rider in this state. The reason why I'm saying this is his final form is because it was treated as something powerful. Kaito had equal power to Kouta when the latter assumed Kiwami Arms. Anyways, how did he assume this form? After being beaten in a fight against Ryoma Sengoku (aka Kamen Rider Duke), he eats an Inves fruit and transforms into an Overlord. With this power, he is able to kill Ryoma. With this kind of power, he goes down the dark path, where he would eventually meet his fate at the hands of Kouta.
In the V-Cinema, Kamen Rider Drive Saga: Kamen Rider Mach, Go Shijima is able to use the Ride Crosser Shift Car to transform into Kamen Rider Mach Chaser, a hybrid form combining the powers of both Mach and Chaser.
In his V-Cinema, Kamen Rider Ghost RE:BIRTH: Kamen Rider Specter, Makoto Fukami uses the Sin Specter Eyecon to assume Sin Specter Damashii, which is obviously a repaint of Mugen Damashii, but regardless, I love this form.
In Episode 37, Hiiro Kagami was given the Taddle Legacy Gashat and was able to assume Level 100, Taddle Legacy Gamer. This was at the time where Hiiro was working for Masamune Dan (aka Kamen Rider Chronos) so he could get the data of his deceased girlfriend, Saki Momose. This form was also used by his Game World counterpart, who assumed the mantle of Kamen Rider True Brave.
In Episode 31, after it was revealed that Ryuga was half-alien, half-human, he uses his powers to give birth to the Dragon Magma Fullbottle. By inserting it into the Cross-Z Magma Knuckle, he can transform into Kamen Rider Cross-Z Magma, which is revolved around lava.
Hey guys, what's crackin? Summer's almost here and I got a new episode, fresh and ready to be viewed. This is Power Rangers Battle Beasts Season 1, Episode 14: What to Expect When Your Expecting. Enjoy!
We start the episode off with a scene on the Zenix Arrowship. Neuron walks down a hall that leads to the bridge, where he meets with Zarkron and the other generals. Zarkron: Neuron. Glad you could join us. Neuron: I can say the same. What is it that you need to discuss? Zarkron: Through these past weeks, we have experienced failures at the hands of the Rangers. For that, a rule needs to be played. The five strikes shall come into motion. Bloxor: Five strikes? Zarkron: The both of you shall get 5 turns. If a monster of yours has been defeated, that turn will be done. If you have used 5 monsters and if they have failed, then your strikes are up, and you will be annihilated.
The two look at Zarkron with worry, knowing of their punishments. Neuron then says this... Neuron: Then I guess I shall go first.
He walks around the room as he explains his latest plan... Neuron: From my recent studies, humans can reproduce by mating. This would, thus, produce an inexperienced organism laying dormant inside of a female organism. Zarkron: OK, we're are you getting at? Neuron: What I am saying is is that we should target these so called "pregnant woman". The more we annihilate, the less humans that can be born. Bloxor: And how are you going to execute this plan? Neuron: Well, I shall present him to you.
The monster of the week walks through the door, but trips, showing that he's pretty dumb. Neuron: This is Vacsacker.....and he's pretty dumb. Zarkron: How can you determine this buffoon will succeed? Vacsacker: Hey, I'm not a buffoon, I'm a balloon. *laughes* That rhymes. Neuron: He was the only candidate that was available. But I'm pretty sure he is aware of the plan. Vacsacker: Don't worry. I'm gonna wipe out some pregnant dames before ya know it.
Cut to Earth, we see Amy walking out the mall for the fourth time in this series and arrives at the nearest bus stop. While waiting for the bus, she looks at a bakery across the street, and sees a little girl and her mother walk outside with with a cakebox. That reminds her of when she helped her mother with a bakery back in Animalia. She smiles after thinking of said flashback. The bus arrives and she boards it. Minutes later, she arrives at the apartment complex and arrives at EZ's apartment. She opens the door and sees that the other Rangers and EZ are standing at the door, with stern faces and their arms crossed. Amy: Oh, hey guys. How long were you standing there? Trevor: Where were you? Amy: The mall. Why? Sadie: Do you think you have some sort of an....addiction? Amy: Why would you think that? Aaron: Amy, you told me that you wanted to explore this world, and shopping most of the time doesn't give that desire any extent. And besides where are you getting this much money anyways? Amy: Oh, I've been getting it from this site EZ has. I think it's called "Pat-reon"? EZ: My Patreon?! Damn it! I was saving up for a Revolcane!
EZ places his hands on her shoulders. EZ: Sweetheart, we're here to help you. So....let go of the bags, and hear what we have to say.
Leon and Sadie grab the bags from Amy's hand as EZ then sits her down onto the couch. Sadie: Amy, we understand you love shopping, but this is going way too far. Leon: And for once I agree. Trevor: We know you want to explore the world, so maybe you should start doing activities other than shopping. Amy: *sighs* I guess your right. Leon: Which is why we signed you up for volunteering.
Leon hands her a flyer. Amy: Oh. For what, exactly? Sadie: To help pregnant women. Amy: WHAT?!
Shes says with a face of shock. Cut to our opening.
We cut to the hospital where we see Amy walk in through the sliding doors. She is amazed by them on how they are closing by themselves. Once they close, she walks through them again, like someone would do in a typical fish out of the water-esque story. Nurse: Excuse me, Ma'am? Amy: Huh? Nurse: Why are you hear? Amy: Oh, um, I'm volunteering to be an aide for a pregnant woman named Veronica. Nurse: Oh, she's right over there. Amy: Oh, Thanks.
When she walks away, the nurse looks at her strangely, wondering why she was playing with the doors. Amy walks up to waiting room, where they is about a dozen pregnant woman waiting for their aides. She walks to an African-Americana woman the nurse pointed to. Amy: Excuse me, are you Veronica? Veronica: Oh, yes. Nice to meet you.... Amy: My name is Amy. Veronica: Well, while we're waiting for registration, how about we sit and talk? Amy: Sure.
She sits down and asks a question. Amy: So....how did this happen? I mean, did you--- Veronica: Uh, sweetie, you'll find out when you get older. *laughes* Amy: So, how come you don't have anyone else helping you? Veronica: Well, that's because most of my family members are away most of the time. And my husband is in the Army. Amy: What's the army? Veronica: *laughes* You're funny.
Outside of the hospital, Vacsacker and about three Zigglers arrive at the front of the hospital. Vacsacker tries walking through the doors, but due to him being big, he can't fit through the doors. Vacsacker: Oh, dang it, I can't fit through the doors. You two, come on and help a guy out.
The Zigglers try pushing Vacsacker through the doors, but to no avail. After a couple of pushes, the two then kick him through the door, where he trips into the lobby. The Zigglers get back up and help him. Vacsacker: Hey, help me up!
Once he stands up... Vacsacker: Hi, there.
The patients start screaming in fear and Amy gets up and stands in front of Veronica, protecting her. Amy: Get back! Vacsacker: Oh, you. Get her!
The Zigglers run towards Amy and an unmorphed fight presumes. She seems to get the best of them, but when she knocks one, that specific Ziggler gets back and is about to attack another pregnant woman, but Amy grabs that and knocks him out, thus causing him to disintegrate. Vacsacker: Well, seems like you knocked out my friends. Let's see how I do.
He runs towards Amy and she punches him in the head. After a couple of seconds..... Vacsacker: OWW! You hit me in the head! Amy: Well, that was the intention. Vacsacker: But why did you have to do it so hard? Amy: You're really dumb, are you? Vacsacker: Hey, I consider myself to be very smart think you very much. Amy: OK, I'm done.
She kicks him, which sends him flying through the hospital entrance and landing on himself hard. Amy follows outside the entrance. Vacsacker: Ow, that hurt. Amy: Well, of course it hurt, you fell 23 feet in distance. Vacsacker: Oh, you think your smart, eh? Well, now your gonna get it!
He runs towards her, until Aaron and Sadie jump from behind and kick his back. Sadie: Hey, Amy, you alright? Amy: Yeah, I'm fine. I didn't even need saving, this guy doesn't even pose a threat. Trevor: Tell us something we don't know. We've been following him for a half-hour. Watch. Hey, what's 2 + 2?
He says to Vacsacker. After a moment of thinking.... Vacsacker: Uh....84?
After a couple of seconds .... Trevor: We don't even need to morph to take this guy out.
But then Vacsacker then hears a call from space. Vacsacker: Huh, what's that? Okey-dokey. Well, you guys are in luck. My master's calling me. CIAO!!
He teleports into space. Leon: Well that was underwhelming. Amy: I'll meet back with you guys later.
They walk away. Cut to the Zenix Arrowship, in a certain room.... Neuron: You fool! Why didn't you finish them off? Vacsacker: Well, I heard a voice telling me to come back. And besides, they're were too many anyways. Neuron: Who called you back? Naria: It was I who called him back. Neuron: Why did you do such thing? Naria: Given how dumb he is, I realized he needed help. I can do just that.
Shes says as he flirts with him. Vacsacker: *laughes* OK. Neuron: Please do, Naria, because if he fails, that's one strike down.
Back on Earth, we see Amy helping Veronica out of her car due to her big belly as they arrive at her house. Amy: So, this is your house? Veronica: Yeah. Looks graceful, doesn't it? Amy: Sure does.
She helps her to the house and they walk in, with Amy being amazed by the interior. She helps her to her couch. Amy: This place looks beautiful. Veronica: Do you mind if you can help do some chores? Amy: That's fine with me. Veronica: Good. Let's get started.
So, Amy helps around the house by numerous chores, like vacuuming, doing laundry, etc. This montage is sped up, with the Benny Hill music playing. 30 Minutes Later.... Amy is stressed out from all this work and lays down onto the couch. Veronica: Well, looks like your all gassed out, honey. Want some tea? Amy: Sure.
She walks into the kitchen and the two sit at the dining table, while drinking some tea. She takes a sip and identifies what is in it. Amy: Milk...Cardamom seeds....and cinnamon. Veronica: How did you know? Amy: I have a....special gift. So, how long did you find out you were pregnant. Veronica: Two months ago. My husband was still in the army at the time. I talk to him everyday using Skype. I wish he were here. Amy: Seems like the both of you have big responsibilities to take. Veronica: True. I worked in a salon before I got pregnant. Had to leave when I started showing. Amy: Why is that?y Veronica: Honey, when we take big responsibilities in life, there are other things that we love that we need to give up. But who knows, when my husband comes back, or when this baby gets old enough, I can resume my job.
Amy smiles and looks down, thinking about what the other Rangers said, realizing what they were truly trying to get across. Amy: Hey, how about tomorrow we can walk in the park? Veronica: That sounds nice.
The next day..... We see Amy and Veronica walking in the park. Amy: This sure is a beautiful day. Veronica: You said it. I can't wait for my baby to experience such a graceful world.
Amy smiles, but then they are suddenly attacked. Vacsacker appears from his invisibility technique and arrives with a squad of Zigglers. Vacsacker: Hello again, little girl. Miss me? Amy: Veronica, get back!
But then.... Veronica: Uh-oh. Not now! Amy: What's wrong? Veronica: My water just broke! Amy: Oh my gosh!!
She is shocked. Vacsacker: Uh, what does that mean? Amy: It mean she's having a baby, you moron! Vacsacker: Oh, congratulations! I mean, well, now I can kill two birds with one stone.
He walks slowly towards them, until a thin string suddenly trips him. The other four Rangers appear out of the bushes. Leon: We're back. Amy: How did you find him again? Sadie: I could hear his steps. Amy: Um, guys. Do you realize that Veronica's going into labor? Leon: Yeah, that's good to hea---WHAT?! Trevor: Amy, get her to the hospital quick! Well take care of the situation. Veronica: And how are you going to that? Amy: Come on. We'll take a cab.
Amy grabs Veronica from the bench they were sitting on and they run. The other four then engage the Zigglers in another unmorphed fight scene. After wiping out the Zigglers, the only one left is Vacsacker. Vacsacker: *laughes* Well that was well choreographed. Aaron: You're the only one left? Guys, we can easily pinch this guy and he'd be done.
The others laugh, but this gets Vacsacker angry. Vacsacker: Alright, I had enough of you Rangers picking on me. That's the final straw!!
He uses his arms cannons and shoots at them, sending them flying back. Leon: OK. Maybe there's more to this guy than we thought. Aaron: It's Morphin Time!
They grab out their Cube Morphers and morph. All Four: Spirit Unleash!
They morph and head towards him with their Beast Blasters in Saber Mode. Meanwhile, Amy and Veronica arrive at the hospital, hurrying through the doors. Amy: Can someone help? This woman is about to go into labor!
The nurses help Veronica and get her onto a bed, rushing her to the back. Amy tries to follow, but one nurse stops her. Nurse: Ma'am, you can't go back there. Veronica: It's okay, Amy. I'll be fine.
They rush her to the delivery room. Amy walks back through the entrance, but accidentally bumps into a guy, who seems depressed. Amy: Oh, sorry about that. Guy: It's fine.
Before she walks out, she looks at him strangely. She runs out the door and back to the park. She gets out her Cube Morpher and morphs. Amy: It's Morphin Time! Spirit Unleashed!
She morphs into the White Tiger Ranger and once back at the park, she sees that Vacsacker is getting the best of the Rangers. Amy: Beast Blaster! Saber Mode!
She jumps into the sky and tries to strike him, but he disappears. Amy: Where'd he go?
She is then hit by laser blasts and flies back. The Rangers come to her aid. Sadie: Hey, glad you could join us. Now he can turn invisible.
Vacsacker then fires at Leon, sending him flying back as well. Leon: *groans* How can we fight something we can't see? Sadie: Wait a sec, I have an idea.
She uses her enhanced hearing and can hear his steps. She then fires at his position, with him reacting by showing himself. He quickly disappears again. Aaron: He's gone again.
But then, Trevor starts picking up his smell. Trevor: Wait. I recognize his smell. Over there.
He fires at him and he is visible again. Vacsacker: Ow. So much for that enhancement Naria gave me. Amy: I can take him.
She grabs out her Beast Blaster in Saber Mode and charges towards him. She slashes at him, rapidly. Amy: How dare you attack an pregnant woman while she's in labor?
She dashes behind him and kicks him from the back, sending him flying. The others use their Beast Blasters as well in Saber Mode and strike him. They round up and prepare. Amy: Now you're finished!
They jump up into the sky and presume to do the Battle Beast Final Strike. Vacsacker: Well, so much for Neuron's plan.
He is then destroyed. They demorph and Amy races to the hospital. Amy: Come on.
The others follow her. Back on the Zenix Arrowship.... Naria: Neuron, Vacsacker has failed. Neuron: He doesn't deserve a second chance. Zarkron: You know what that means. Strike One for you.
Bloxor laughes at him as Neuron looks down in shame. Meanwhile, the Rangers race to the hospital. Amy: Excuse me, have you heard of a patient named Veronica Hudson? Nurse: Yes. Her room is 402. Amy: OK, thanks.
They walk to the back and go upstairs. They enter the room and see that Veronica is on the bed with her newborn baby. Amy: Hey, Veronica. Veronica: shhh. She's sleeping. Amy: *whispering and gasps* It's a girl? Veronica: *whispering* Yes. Come over and see.
They walk near her and see the baby's face, admiring it's cuteness. Amy: Can I hold her? Veronica: Yeah, sure.
She gives her the baby. Sadie: She's so adorable. Aaron: I can tell she'll be a wonderful person when she grows up. Amy: You know guys, thanks for making me take this job. Trevor: Why are you thanking us? Amy: Because it made me realize that being a Power Ranger is a big responsibility, so I'm gonna give up shopping for a while. Sadie: Good that we we're able to teach you something-- Leon: Because we burned the clothes you bought. Amy: OK.......What?
