Hey guys. After watching a video that goes over all the Magirangers´ spells, I noticed they were talking about the Legend Mode. I thought that maybe I could make a post talking about each armaments and power-ups in Sentai History. And hey, Shishi Red just got a new power-up (a really ugly one to be precise). So, lets talk about each of the power-ups and protectors that increases a Sentai Senshi´s power, starting with Dynaman. Let´s Go.
Battle Tector (Kagaku Sentai Dynaman)
In Dynaman, Dyna Black had the ability to summon his Battle Tector, which would enhance his endurance in battle. This isn´t classified as the first power-up, but is known to be a protector armor.

Five Tector (Chikyu Sentai Fiveman)
In Fiveman, Ken (aka Five Blue) created the Five Tector, which much likes Dyna Black´s Battle Tector, can enhance your endurance in battle. Unlike said senshi, the entire team can use the armor.

Dragon Armor (Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger)
In Zyuranger, Dragonranger possesses a shield that he uses to protect himself in battle, which makes him differ from the other Zyuranger suits. In Episode 29, Burai lended his Dragon Armor to his brother, Geki (aka Tyranno Ranger) so he can use it to defend himself in retrieving the Thunder Slingers. Once Burai died in Episode 42, he gave both the Zyusouken and the Dragon Armor to Geki so he can use to increase his power. Geki uses the Dragon Armor in Episodes 43 & 45.

Mega Tector (Denji Sentai Megaranger)
In Denji Sentai Megaranger vs. Carranger, the Megarangers end up gaining the last wish from a dragon-like fairy named Picot. The last wish was a chance to defeat the Space Biker Helmedor. The wish gave them the Mega Tector, golden armor that enhances their power. Sadly, it was only used in Megaranger vs Carranger, because once Helmedor was defeated, the wish was at last used up.

Juusokou Gingaman (Seijuu Sentai Gingaman)
In Episode 23 of Gingaman, the Lights of Ginga finally chooses the Gingamen, giving them enhanced power, turning them into the Juusokou Gingaman. With this new power, they gain upgraded belts, an armband, an upgraded version of their swords, Flashing Star Beast Sword, and the Beast Armor Claw. This is known as the first power-up in Sentai history.

In Hurricanger, the sixth member, Shurikenger, has the ability to activate Fire Mode. He would do so by removing his chest armor and saying ¨Face Change¨ which would be rotating his helmet to a different face. Thus, Fire Mode is born.

Abare Mode (Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger)
In Abaranger, once the Abarangers reach their full potential, they can access Abare Mode. Abare Black and Abare Killer can activate Abare Mode as well.

Abare Max (Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger)
In order to activate Max Mode, AbaRed would use the StyRiser shield to activate it. But first, AbareBlue and AbareYellow would have to infuse their energies into the shield, so it can be fully activated. This form debuted in Episode 31. The StyRiser can also be used as both a shield and a sword. He can also use it to control the Bakuryu Styraco.

SWAT Mode (Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger)
In Case 32, the Dekarangers had to go through harsh training in order to achieve this power-up. They recieved it in Case 33. The only way to activate is by using their SP Licenses. Once in SWAT Mode, they can use the D-Revolvers.

DekaRed Battlizer (Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger)
In Magiranger vs Dekaranger, DekaRed was given the Battlizer when he joined the Fire Squad. Murphy can turn into a set of armor Ban can use. The ironic thing is that Sentai actually adapted this from Power Rangers S.P.D.

Legend Magirangers (Mahou Sentai Magiranger)
In Stage 30, the Magirangers were able to unlock Legend Mode. To activate this power-up, they would press the code 1006 on their Magi Phones and transform into Legend Mode. Once in this mode, they can use the DialRods to fight.

Accel Tector (GoGo Sentai Boukenger)
The AccelTector can be used to protect BoukenRed from harm. It is mainly used to protect him when the Dual Crusher is used to finish off the monster because the Dual Crusher has immense power. The others can access the AccelTector. BoukenSilver used it in an encyclopedia segment, but never in an episode.

Courageous Form (GoGo Sentai Boukenger)
In Task 27, Akashi was cursed with bad luck. To counterattack, he was given the lucky charms of his friends, which he used to counterattack the bad luck he has. The other Boukengers assumed Courageous Form in an encyclopedia segment.

Super Gekirangers (Jyuken Sentai Gekiranger)
In Lesson 21, the Gekirangers were able to use the Super Geki Claws to transform into Super Gekirangers. They can also use the Super Geki Claws for combat. They can attach their Super Geki Claws onto the SaiBlade, transforming it into the Super SaiBlade.

Shinkenger Super Mode (Samurai Sentai Shinkenger)
By using the Inromaru, the user can turn into Super Mode. The first was Shinken Red, in Act 24. He can also add the Inromaru to his Shinkenmaru, turning it into the Super Shinkenmaru. The other Shinkengers can use the Inromaru to turn into Super Mode, but not all at once. The only one who couldn´t use it was Shinken Gold. In Goseiger vs Shinkenger, the Goseigers had special cards that they used to give the other Shinkengers the ability to use Super Mode.

Hyper Shinken Red (Samurai Sentai Shinkenger)
In Act 31, Shinken Red used the Kyoryu Disc to turn into Hyper Shinken Red, turning his Shinkenmaru into the Kyoryumaru. The only one who used it was Shinken Red, but in the Hyper Battle DVD, Shinken Gold used it to turn into Hyper Shinken Gold. In Act 48, Shinken Green used it to turn into Hyper Shinken Green. In Shinkenger vs Go-Onger, the disc was given to Go-On Red where he placed on his Mantan Gun in Rod Mode, and he transformed into Hyper Go-On Red.

Super Goseigers (Tensou Sentai Goseiger)
In Epic 24, the Goseigers achieved the Miracle Gosei Headders, which give them the Gosei Tenswords. They insert the Headders into the Tenswords and shoot a beam into the sky, turning into the Super Goseigers. They were then given a card that they can use to summon the Miracle Gosei Headders. They can also attach their Tensouders onto the weapons.

Gokai Silver Gold Mode (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger)
In Episode 19, Gai combined the power of all 15 of the previous sixth senshi and formed the Gold Anchor Key. He used it to activate Gold Mode, by inserting it at the bottom of the Gokai Cellular. In the Hyper Battle DVD, Gokai Red used the Gold Anchor Key to transform into Gokai Red Gold Mode.

Go-Busters Powered Custom (Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters)
To assume Powered Custom form, the Go-Busters would insert their GB Custom Visors on their Morphin Braces to activate the transformation. The Powered Custom´s armor is made from the data of the Buddyloids.

Kyoryu Red Carnival (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger)
To assume Carnival mode, Kyoryu Red would throw the Gabutyra Carnival Zyudenchi to Gabutyra, which would shrink him into a miniaturized version, nicknamed Minityra. He would move his jaw forward and would do a funny dance and pull the trigger, turning into Kyoryu Red Carnival. He can use other Zyudenchi to activate other forms, like Kyoryu Red Samba Carnival, Western Carnival, Macho Carnival and Kung Fu Carnival. In Brave 39, Mikoto gives Daigo the Tobaspino Zyudenchi where he uses it alongside the Stegotchi Zyudenchi and transforms into Kyoryu Red Carnival Samba Special.

Super Akiba Red (Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger Season Tsuu)
To assume his Super Mode, Akiba Red would use the MMZ-02 Munyu Munyu Zubaan to assume this form.

Hyper Mode (Ressha Sentai ToQger)
To activate Hyper Mode, ToQ 1gou would use the Hyper Ressha to transform into said form. Right wasn´t the only ToQger to transform into Hyper Mode. In Station 34, Tokatti used Hyper Mode to fight the Billiard Shadow. In Station 29, Hikari used Hyper Mode to fight the Bottle Shadow. In Station 30, the girls used Hyper Mode together, but ended up being stuck to each other. In Station 44, Akira uses Hyper Mode to ward off Castle Keeper Pawn in Build Dai-Oh. In ToQger Returns, Toq 7gou (aka Conductor) was able to use Hyper Mode as well.

Super ToQ 6gou (Ressha Senta ToQger)
In the Hyper Battle DVD, Akira was able to use the Build Ressha Special Version to turn into Super ToQ 6gou. (Don´t ask me why Ticket is on his hand).

Akaninger Chouzetsu (Shuriken Sentai Ninninger)
With the Chouzetsu Shobu Changer, Akaninger can transform into Akaninger Chouzetsu. He can also add the changer to his sword, increasing its power. Akaninger wasn´t the only one to activate Chouzetsu Mode. In Episode 38, Aoninger uses Chouzetsu Mode to fight off Amikiri. In Episode 35, Kininger uses Chouzetsu Mode to fight off Omukade. In Episode 27, Starninger uses Chouzetsu Mode to fight off Wolf Man to avenge his family. The only ones who never got to use Chouzetsu Mode was the girls.

Super Starninger (Shuriken Sentai Ninninger)
In Episode 36, Starninger was able to access Super Form, which is just a poncho. He can also use the Ninja Gekiatsutou in this form.

Zyuoh Gorilla (Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger)
In Episode 5, Larry gives Yamato his Zyuman power, giving Yamato the ability to activate his Gorilla form.

Zyuoh Whale (Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger)
In Episode 29, Yamato was given the Whale Change Gun by the Gokaigers. After bonding with it, he could transform into Zyuoh Whale.

Pegasus Shishi Red (Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger)
In Space 5, Lucky was given the Pegasus Kyutama. Once activated, a sentient pegasus-like armor materialized around his chest, which was named ¨Pega-san¨. This power gives Lucky the ability to move at increasing speeds.

Taiyo Shishi Red & Shishi Red Tsuki (Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger)
In Space 17, Lucky was given the Hikari Kyutama. This Kyutama has two modes. The first mode is Sun Mode, where he can use the power of the sun. The second mode is Moon Mode, where he can use the power of the moon. Using Moon Mode can also change his mood.

Shishi Red Orion (Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger)
In Space 30, Lucky ends up gaining the Saiko Kyutama. By using it, he transforms into Shishi Red Orion. In this new form, he has the ability to use the other Kyurangers´ weapons.

Sasori Orange Ikkakuju (Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger)
In his own V-Cinema, Stinger would use the Ikkakuju Kyutama to use the Ikkakuju Arm.

Ooguma Skybule (Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger)
By using the Ooguma Kyutama, Kotaro can increase in size, thus becoming Ooguma Skyblue.

Hebitsukai Metal (Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger)
In a desire to gain emotions, Naga is corrupted by Akyanba into Dark Naga, and with his Dark Seiza Blaster, he used the Dark Kyutama to be Hebitsukai Metal. Once freed by his friends, he is still able to use this form, but without the eye and the snake tongue on his helmet being painted from red to silver.
