Gao Jewels (Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger)
In Gaoranger, the Gao Jewels are what represents each of the Power Animals, the Gaorangers' mechs. To summon their mechs, they can insert any of the Gao Jewels into their Juuokens and summon the Power Animal the Jewel represents. They can also use the power of the Gao Jewels for their attacks.

Shinobi Medals (Ninpuu Setai Hurricanger)
In Hurricanger, the Shinobi Medals are the means of the Hurricangers transforming. There are also auxillary Shinobi Medals that can be sent to them by Oboro to summon a Karakuri Ball, which would open up and reveal a Karakuri Weapon any of their mecha robos can use.

Engine Souls (Engine Sentai Go-Onger)
In Go-Onger, the Engine Souls were the gimmicks the Go-Ongers used. The Engine Souls can be used to transform them into Go-Ongers. They can also be used to power their weapons. They can also be inserted into their henshin devices, where they can communicate with the Engine mechs inside the Engine Souls, or insert them into their Engine Casts, which are the Engines real bodies and can be used as mechs.

Hiden Disks (Samurai Sentai Shinkenger)
In Shinkenger, the Hiden Disks could be attached to the Shinkenmaru, the Shinkengers' sidearms. The Disks could turn their Shinkenmarus into their respective weapons. They can be also used to power up their attacks. Other Hiden Disks can summon new Origami or new forms.

Gosei Cards (Tensou Sentai Goseiger)
In Goseiger, the Gosei Angels used cards to transform into Goseigers. The cards have other purposes like activate special abilities, or to assume different forms, or summon their mechs.

Ranger Keys (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger)
In Gokaiger, the Ranger Keys are an infamous gimmick throughout all of Sentai history. They give the Gokaigers the ability to transform and to turn into any of the past 34 Sentai teams (and in the Zyuohger crossovers, the succeeding four teams). They can also summon mechs based off a certain Sentai team.

Zyudenchi (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger)
In Kyoryuger, the Zyudenchi were the gimmicks. The Kyoryugers can use them to transform, to perform finishers, or summon their mechs. They can use auxillary Zyudenchi to activate special abilities.

ToQ Ressha (Ressha Sentai ToQger)
In ToQger, the Ressha can be used by the ToQgers to transform. They can also be used to switch their colors and weapons. They can also be used to summon their mechs.

Nin Shurikens (Shuriken Sentai Ninninger)
In Ninninger, the Nin Shurikens give the Ninningers the ability to transform. Other Shurikens can be used to perform finishers or special abilities. They can also be used to summon their mechs.

Kyutamas (Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger)
In Kyuranger, the Kyutamas are the current gimmicks. They have four purposes, which is: 1) To transform into a Kyuranger, 2) To summon their mechs, 3) To perform special finishers, or 4) To activate special abilities. There are other Kyutamas that can summon help, or to assume new forms.
